Doing Damage With Necro Needs More Depth
Yeah that’s just the thing.
Necros are meant to be the hardest Profession to kill when played well so as a tradeoff we have low damage.
However nobody likes dealing awful damage to standard PvE mobs, especially so if they thought that the Necro is a DPS class because they wear cloth.
Anyway Arenanet has said that while Necromancer’s condition build feels alright to them the Power builds feel underwhelming.
They’ll likely get buffed within a week or so.
If not then at least they’ll be fixing a massive amount of bugged traits and such.
Should help a lot.
See, that’s the thing. I don’t have a problem with the damage (it needs work but not the point of the OP) so much as the distribution of the damage. Our damage could stay the same but the damage different skills did could still be re-distributed to make doing damage more interesting.
