Don't nerf death's embrace
1) Because it was entirely overpowered and there is absolutely no reasonable argument that it should have stayed in the game. I’m not going to argue that we don’t have tons of issues, but we could kill people from downed state by pressing 1 due to this trait, and that alone warrants better balance.
2) No, nothing is supposed to be OP, that’s the whole point of balance. Just because you think something else is OP doesn’t mean we shouldn’t accept balance to our profession.

thanks bhawb. it was op in pvp/wvw and was nice pve. sadly anet goes in COMPLETELY the wrong direction with balance. splitting skills was the way togo its the best way possible and now they unsplit everything again! and balance it for pvp. when they will announce the warrior axe5 unsplit i will laught. it deals like 100% less damage in pvp than in pve and in pve its still useless so when they make the pvp one the standard one xD. the way to balance this trait (death’s embrace) was 10-20% pvp/wvw and 50% pve
Did they also nerf the base damage of necros in down state too or did they just nerf death’s embrace?
What is the reasoning of the 50% nerf? Casual tears? Have said casuals even see the thief changes?
Necro downstate is supposed to be OP.
I thought anet finally fixed that because they realized that’s where necros belong. In downstate.
The reason is that some guardians died from this once.
Once you attract the attention of the guardian or theif forum, you’re dead.
