Dye Combos for necros
I went with dark purple, dark red and sick yellows on my norn female in TA armor, makes it looks like a diseased and twisted flower.
I tried with white instead of the yellow but I didnt like it as much.
Camelot Unchained is on Kickstarter.

I use abyss with lifesblood on my asura, looks pretty awesome imo
I use Midnight Green as base colour, highlights are done with Midnight Olive.

I know it sounds simple, but I use Tea Jeans as the base, Orchid as the secondary, and Hush as the tertiary. Tea Jeans matches the Wraith mask well, which I use. Orchid matches purple skin (or in my case, purple glow). Hush makes for a nice highlight without being too white; it has kind of a lavender tone to it.
Of course, rarer dyes in that same kind of teal, purple, lavender set-up would work too. I just prefer the basic ones for some reason. Tweak away.
mignight fire and midnight ice look great

Actually, you should totally advise your friend to get bright and happy colors for her sylvari necro. Death is really just the celebration of making room for new life! I recommend Lemon Ice and Jalapeno Dye with Royal Rose accents.
Having the prettiest necro around just makes it more impactful when she shrouds.
I found the Leprechaun dye recently and it’s basically the green I always wanted when I first started playing. It’s pretty much an emerald green and it goes great with black.
I’m a big fan of greens and browns on my Sylvari who is a pale white color with a dull speckled pattern. I’ve been compared to a creepy swamp thing and that is exactly what I was going for. Also I was temporarily deep purple myself and immediately regretted it, the skin itself was absolutely beautiful and looked awesome but it is sooo hard to work with deep purple skin in terms of dyeing armor. I recommend yellows or tans/browns for contrast or to compliment try other deep reds/purples. Then again I couldn’t really make it work and still come off as Necroey. So I’m probably not the best person to listen to :P The thing about the color purple is you have to be careful with your green or you may get the Barney The Dinosaur effect… Gold however works very well wit deep purple skin.

on my sylvari i’m using midnight olive midnight yew and midnight green screen shot below.
I have six different costumes and vary the colors on all of them based on seasons, holidays and just for kicks so no help from me. ;-p
This way I never tire of my main’s look. If only I could do the same with the minions…

Bitfrost makes sense now :P
I think the Midnight series blow every other dye out of the water because it has a matte quality that doesn’t make the colour ‘scream’ which ruins like 80% of the whole dye library except for small details. At least for the larger parts of a given clothing they are just so nice, the midnight ones.
My favourite is probably midnight fuchsia, i use it on at least three of my Norn, among them the necromancer. But of course that’s just me, if you do like more sharply vivid colouring with too little shadowing then I am bad advice to heed.
Either way good luck with your dye adventures.
I went with midnight fire as primary, sea green as secondary and antique gold for the accents on my asura necro in full coe armor, look pretty awesome ^^
