Guild Wars 2

I have been experiencing a troubling bug where I die instantly for no reason. This bug occurs when I exit Death Shroud(I still have 15,000 HP+), and then I will be downed. This has happened to me in a dueling server and a tournament in the last few days. Only during 1v1s, and not on skyhammer.

My combat log doesn’t give any information on what happened, and the people i was fighting where also dumbfounded by what happened.

Has anyone else experienced this before?

Also I been getting the Immobilized for nor reason bug often, i swear this has been around since beta.

for the immobilized just use the /sit command, for the rest i dotn know how to help you.

The immobilize thing has been happening to me a lot too. I am so fast at typing /dance now.

He’s not complaining about not being able to move he probably knows how to get out of it. He’s complaining that it’s even happening at all especially if it happens at an extremely bad time.

Yea.. thieves immobilising people and hitting them for 20k =)

There used to be a bug with mesmer’s Halting Strike that could instagib you, but I think they fixed that. Does it always happen when you’re duelling against the same class, or with all sorts of different ones? Could you post screenshots of your combat log after it happens? Or best of all, record a fight where it happens and upload the vid to Youtube so we can see?

i have died instantly with 15k health and 12k lf this has happened to me quite a lot but what you are describing i don’t think i have noticed this one =s

is it when you personally exit death shroud or when you are forced out of it? i get insta death when im forced out

This happened to me in PVE yesterday….had me puzzled for a bit. Had also just come out of DS.

Has anyone posted this in the bug section?
I think it is more likely that Anet will read it there than in the necro subforum.

I haven’t had the dying instantly happen to myself but I am having DS just randomly exit out on its own without running out of lifeforce or me telling it to.

I do get the immobilize bug its becoming more frequent and it is a right royal pain in the proverbial. Especially in WvW when you clash with a zerg as there is nothing worse being caught in the stampede because you cant move. At least I now know how a hedgehog feels when it see’s those oncoming headlights and it stands between the two headlights and prays its not a reliant robin and they can survive it going over the top of them.
