Elite Skills Fixed!
Reanimator: This trait no longer summons a Jagged Horror. Now it revives your enemies whenever you kill them.
Necrotic Grasp: Changed functionality to “Bleed yourself. Your staff becomes a Scythe for a short period of time. Deals no damage.”
•Life Leech: This downed skill’s damage has been increased 150% and drains more HP.
And dmg can be increased even more with new traits.
This opens a new build for Necro´s, bleed your self to death with skills and then kill your enemy with Life Leech while you are downed.
Wells:
We have reworked wells so now they correctly place an actual well at your feet. You can get water bucket environmental weapon from them.

While I get the feeling that this was an attempt to dodge a bug they don’t know how to fix, there’s not a lot of point in a minion build if you’re not going to use the flesh golem anyway.
Moa Form is ridiculous, though.

Yes because when Toyota recalls cars because of brakes and power window issues what they should have said was: we know hundreds of thousands of you testing our cars everyday can’t be right. The brakes are faulty? Nonsense l2drive better. Once you master driving you won’t even need brakes, then watch out!

Fixed a bug that was preventing the Necrotic Grasp audio file from playing correctly. It now plays twice as loud, and twice as long as intended

We introduced a new minion which spawns if you get killed right after using Death Shroud. The minion will lecture you by quoting famous phrases of J.P. on how to use a Death Shroud in order to be an awesome killing machine. In addition: If you got killed by a rogue you get told that you had to simply dodge everything. The same goes for moa morphs

You can summon a well now. What you can do? No idea. But at least you can summon one.

Spectral Wall
Barrs the necromancer the way if he wants to escape. Seriously, some thieves were annoyed because some of you guys didn’t drop dead within 3 seconds and the thieves had to press 1-2 more hearts33k0rz! The wall will be autmatically placed on your support ability position 7 and cannot be removed
Signet of the Locust
Your legs get longer and when you get pulped it makes a sound as if you squash an insect. Really necromancy!!!
Epidemic
Was renamed to Aether Explosion and given to the mesmers. You had one thing which was better than their abilities. No way!
Summon Flesh Wurm
If a Ranger pet bird attacks your wurm it eats the wurm immediately and morphs to Giant Death Bird. It then is able to strafe the necromancers location. Bird droppings will cause 2000 damage plus 4000 acid damage

Fixed: We felt due to how great DS is and Jon showing you how to use said powerful skill; this was just too strong. Now upon entering DS, Jon Peters still appears. However he is using his warrior and the rest of the dev team appears as mesmers.
Lich Form: auto call target on you and if you see a mesmer never use this
summon blood fiend: just because all classes have 3 healing skill and necros need all stupid pets they can get

I know it isn’t directly about Necromancer, but it is worth it:
Moa Morph: Now correctely instantly kills the target Necromancer as intended.
Death’s Embrace: reworked this trait to summon nearest necromancer so they can give you a hug.
This is the second best thread in the necro forums after the bug list
The class once known as Necromancer has now been renamed to Death Shroudmancer, as it should have been all along. All non Death Shroud skills have been disabled, as they are unnecessary.
Death Shroud now triggers automatically upon getting into 5000 range of other classes. It now properly removes all skills until you enter downed state.
John Peters tutorial on Death Shroud was removed due to popular demand by thief profession.
Dodge mechanic has been disabled for Necromancers due to unintended bug which caused players to avoid attacks from other players.
This is almost as epic as vanilla warlock forums. It was almost as bad… Anet did the impossible! In their quest to be innovative they put a lot of effort to make it even more broken then unfinished place holder class.

Due to the powerful nature of death shroud we have done a complete rework of the mechanic.
Fixed a bug which was causing necromancers to gain too much life force. Life force is now only gained by each minion attack on an enemy.
Due to the powerful nature of minions Jagged horrors are now the only minions which can be summoned using only the reanimator trait.
However we have decided to keep the flesh golem elite advisor to help you plan your moves during combat.

Idk about you…but if we add a week to all of our threads about a bug fix for us, we might as well be having some fun with it. Because by my guesstimate, that is ~700-300 weeks. ({26 threads/page x 34pages}+/- for the variable of those that could/could not be about bugs). I don’t want to trudge through it all, sorry. But if what is you say is true, we would be waiting a while.

Flesh Golem:
Added a party hat for Halloween season and the Flesh Golem claps excitedly now to the rythm of blows landing on the necromancer
so much win in this statement.
Fear now gives necros an instant 50% speed boost to run away in fear when spotting any class other than another necro. Necros no longer have to stack toughness in order to not survive.
This thread actually made me laugh. I hope the Devs read this and at least can chuckle along with us. (and maybe give a pity fix or buff or something)

Except that Flesh Golem doesn’t know how to swim. I jump in the water and he gets and tense and starts sinking. Finally the anxiety gets to him and puffs out of existence leaving a little bit of Life Force behind. As such, it’s all about Plague form underwater.
Equipping the axe or minion utilities will now correctly apply a dunce hat to the necromancer to properly publicly shame the player for not using the scepter/dagger combination.
To properly balance the awesome power of death shroud, all classes now have access to it.
The Jon Peters tutorial has been removed from necromancers, and given to all other classes. This is being done to properly inform other classes about their new ability and to remain consistent with our information blackout towards the necromancer community.
Implemented various bugs fixes that caused even more severe problems with the necromancer class.
Removed necromancer as a class option at character creation. Our meta data shows that some players can’t take a hint. All current necromancers will be unaffected and continuously ignored.
Necromancers have been barred from the Halloween event. Again, this is in line with our commitment to troll the necromancer community
Additional necromancer bug fixes will be delayed until after the next patch. We’re currently bug fixing and testing the new flight ability being added to the guardian and warrior classes.

You should not name Jon Peters in this forums with any kind of sarcasm or even criticism. Last night our “Jon Peters are you around” thread got ninja deleted by the forum admins here because of a few statements about promises he made that since today are not fulfilled. It´s pretty clear that arenanet does not want criticism here, i mean look at the Necro Bug list and how much is fixed by now. It´s ridiculous.
Corrupt Boon: Strips all boons off enemy and converts them into conditions on the Necromancer.
- HOTFIX – Guardians complained about removal of boons so Corrupt boon now leaves boons in place while still converting them into conditions for the Necromancer.
Blood Curse: Now deals 1 damage and adds 25 stacks of unremoveable bleed to the Necromancer. Animation changed to convert Scepter into a feather which tickles the enemy. Enemy now laughs maniacally while watching the Necromancer die. There is a 0.001% chance the enemy will die from laughter
- HOTFIX – Removed 0.001% chance to die from laughter as it was OP. (Necro’s could actually kill something on a rare occasion)
This thread is only funny because it’s true
- Life Force no more depletes while in Death Shroud.
- Necromancers now lose 4% of their maximum health every second while not in a Death Shroud.
- Each Necromancer can now spend 400 gems to refill 10% of his Life Force pool (ONLY OUT OF COMBAT).
Daggers: We found a loop in the system where some Necromancers were still able to kill our beloved Mesmers, Guardians, Warriors, and Thieves, 10% of the time, so we have nerfed the daggers and replaced off hand dagger with a shield. Literally, we have nerfed them. Just look up “nerfed dagger & shield” to see your new weapons
Mesmers now have a corrected form of the Necromancer’s life stealing skill on all illusions
Warrior now has the Necromancer weapon. This weapon does more damage in the hands of a Warrior than it could ever have possibly imagined alone
Guardians now have uncorruptable boons
Thief now uses the Necromancers he kills as human shields before he stealths in

— Minions called forth from the blackest pits now have a SUPER – AI that attacks the necromancer’s lifeforce draining it fully.
— Minions called forth by a necromancer automatically put the necromancer in combat, thus he does not regen health, and runs at a slow slow slow speed. (We felt the necromancer was getting out of battle with the spectral walk too much while generating life force.)
— Staff autoattack moves so slow now, it goes in reverse and blinds the necromancer, pierces him and heals enemy in an aoe like effect.
— Necromancers can now equip a greatsword. The sword does little damage, and is in the shape of a huge nerf type weapon. It makes a bouncy noise, and knocks the necromancer down each time he swings.
Thief Patch: Steal (on Necromancers)
The fear duration stolen from necromancers was increased to 20 sec when it is applied on the necromancer which it was stolen from. This will counter the bug where a necro survived the fear duration while the rogue beat him up.
Death Shroud, Plague Cloud, Lich Form
These forms will now trigger automatically the moa morph regardless if moa morph is on the bar of the mesmers in the vincinity or not.
Hotfix:
Moa Morphs’ durations stack now as intended

Necro Morph
A new utility spell: Necro Morph transforms the target into a useless gibbering thing: a necromancer. Most of the target’s skills won’t work properly but he will provide fun and entertainment via dark magic effects which are amusing because they are so harmless
Mesmer Patch Notes 2:
We removed the Necro Morph spell because it was overpowered and let to instant deaths of thieves who couldn’t survive 3 seconds because they were not used to swapping weapons nor that their weapons skills had a cooldown

Heartseeker now does 500% dmg to Necros. Some Thieves were complaining that their fingers were getting tired from spamming it too much.
Summon Blood Fiend:
Summons one giant floating testicle that floats around and does nothing. Sacrificing it is the equivalent of getting smashed in the left testicle.

Daggers:
Fixed a bug that causes most Dagger skills to have longer range than originally intended, which gave Necromancers an unfair advantage.
All dagger skills are now 130 range, as intended.
DISCLAIMER: I personally think Necros are in a decent position right now, although I do wish we could get some of the many bugs fixed, and some actual pet AI. Funny thread, though, so figured I’d chip in.

Flesh Golum:
Changed Skill to summon an Undead Minstrel. Summon still doesn’t attack or do anything but now has increased annoyance by being able to sing off key.
Lich Form
Changed utility to instantly kill the Necromancer as to reduce the time taken by other players in targeting and killing the Necro.
Feast of Corruption
Enhanced visual effects. Now along with giant green teeth biting the target, a giant pulsating bullseye appears over the Necromancer’s head just in case a player in the area didn’t see the teeth graphic appear.
Underwater Combat
Removed all utility skills from being used underwater as this was unintended. Necromancers underwater weapons have been removed to balance this. Necromancers now have only the “kitten slap” unarmed skill which causes enemies to gain fury, might and quickness to kill the Necromancer underwater faster.

Necrotic Grasp
On further reflection of the projectiles speed we realised all other weapons are attacking much to fast. We have thus changed attacks on all other weapons to projectiles and slowed down their speed by 300% making them much more avoidable

-In order to create balance within the game, we renamed the Necromancer to Bugmancer. The only skill you can now use is Locust Swarm, because its the only skill that represents the class accurately due to it’s super-effectiveness!
-Death Shroud now works as intended, but we don’t know how its intended to work, but we’re working on it.
-Underwater combat is now even better than before, you now turn into a kittenroach and float on your back. This is now working as intended.
-We have now added an new weapon to the class Bugmancer, it’s called a Box. You crawl into it and hope all the problems fix themselves, as intended. It resembles our business mispractice well.
I could seriously do this for a long amount of time.
-all necromancer abilities were changed to ground targeting
for maximum micromanagement
-added 20 new dark combofields to the class as well as removing all combofinishers to prevent from selfcomboing
Dark Path now randomly ports you to a target if you are standing still.
Targeting of horn skill #4 has been made into random direction.
Auto-target now targets only closest pets and minions like intended.
