Guild Wars 2

I just started trying out our elite skill plague where we transform into the poison cloud and i seem to be taking less damage while in that form in WvW.

The enemy zerg has to hammer me a long time to drop my health to zero.

is this a bug or do we actually take less damage while in the cloud form?

Increases toughness and max hitpoints so yes. Additionally if you use #2 you are blinding in an area every second.

oooo okay thanks. just wondering because there isn’t anything in the tooltip that says increase toughness and HP but it just felt like I suddenly became a lot tankier.

You can see this by having your gear selection menu open (where you see stats) and then use the skill. You will see the boost to your stats.

i would add:

if youre running this in a wvw zerg just use blind and stick on the commander. you can singlehandedly change the tide of a fight by doing this.

One of my favorite things to do. My commander loves me for it!

Once you’re in plague form, go ahead and click the heroes tab and check out your armor stat…..
