If you land an epidemic on a target, can non-targets within range dodge it?

I actually have been meaning to try and test this, but haven’t had a moment. I will try and find some friends in SPVP to try.

My feeling with 90% certainty is that you cannot avoid the spread if the target hit by epidemic is successfully hit and you are in range. Unless you are INVULNERABLE (going into downed state).

Yeah I’m pretty sure that it is just the targeted player that can dodge, not the players that would become afflicted. But I’m not positive.

I have atleast witnessed once that epidemic is dodgeable. It’s unblockable, but not undodgeable. But the animation and cast time are just so nice, that dodging it is near impossible. Keep stacking & spreading :P

Interesting question considering Epidemic is unblockable. I have never paid that much attention. (it is hard to count to 5 when in a moving battle.)

Epidemic is yes unblockable, and in my experience goes only through blocking skills/effects. Evades and invulnerables are not hit.

I’m rather sure that the ones getting the spread can’t do anything about it.
It doesn’t require line of sight, neither from the caster nor from the target, and I believe dodging doesn’t help either.
I guess the spread works like the Epidemic pre-nerf, where you could even cast it on someone mid-dodge.

However, I don’t think you can spread conditions to someone who’s invulnerable, like an engi with Elexir-S.
