So if I have 2 targets with 2 stacks of bleeding each. I cast epidemic on one of them. Will the other target get 2 stacks of bleeding for a total of 4 or retain the same number of stacks (2) since he has a pre existing condition on him already (the original 2 stacks of bleeding.

Epidemic is copying the conditions from your target, to the other enemies. So your non-target will get 4 stacks of bleeding.

Since you cant see the damage ticks from transfered condis, do you still not see anything if you epidemic purely transfered condis on a target to others?

i think you will see them. as stated above, you copy the conditions and apply them to the other targets.

never tested it tho.
in that case you wont see the damage on the target (tho one getting hit with epedemic), but on all enemies it gets applied to…

An easy way to tell will be with the risen Giants in Orr. Wait till he throws the grubs, hit the grubs with an AoE like grasping dead, epidemic, and then look at the stacks.

You definitely add more to the nearby targets. When leveling, my standard fight pattern was to gather up three or four mobs, use scepter2 and dagger5, then epidemic whichever one was weakest, so as to double the aoe conditions on the rest of the group.

And you will see the damage ticks from copied conditions. They’re copied by you, not just transferred, so you’ll see the ticks and use your condition damage. That’s how I get 20k burning ticks in Silverwastes.

You will see the damage and if you have simple condition floaters on, seeing the hundreds of numbers floating around is so satisfying.
