Original credit to Yesterday.1753 for giving me the tips.
Traits for more bleeds.
It’s a start in the right direction for being more offensive, and action oriented. I’ve found myself being more active in what I do, and how I play with this style of build. I really, REALLY, enjoy playing this build and I hope others may find these traits enjoyable as well.
It can be improved, of course. All things can, and this build is no exception.
The main traits are “Mark of Evasion” (in Blood Magic), and “Weakening Shroud.” (Curses)
To those of you who may or may not think you may or may not be offensive enough and want some more tricks, here’s the build I’ve been running:
http://www.guildhead.com/skill-calc#McVczm9MmwnLMmwnLM0xxa0mMkMkRc8kiT7khd70z7070z7kNL70m7kuB7ow1
I’ve also got a video explaining it a bit, and a few clips of fighting at the end if you’re interested in that as well.
I’m not a pro-commentator, or an expert. Bear with me.
So far it’s the most fun build I’ve played around with, and the build I find myself having more success with than other builds prior to this one. As I state in the video, it might just be because I know the build inside and out better than me taking one from another person and trying to make it work that way.
The best way I’ve found to start off is by opening with Staff.
Anyway guys, I hope you enjoy it, and maybe even find it useful. Please feel free to leave suggestions, etc below.
Happy hunting!

Okay, SOME tips. Sorry for lack there of.
I like it, its really nice. Please clarify your reasoning for for taking Enfeebling Blood over 20% longer bleed duration.
Inflict weakness and bleeding on foes in the target area.
Enfeebling Blood:
Damage: Damage: 168
x1 Weakness: Weakness: 10 s
x2 Bleeding: 10 s (850 damage)
Radius Radius: 240
Range Range: 900
Radius of 240, you literally need to be on top of the player and Weakness you can add with your current setup.

I think I’m confused.
Do you mean the scepter trait? Because I have Hemophilia, but not the 33% + duration for scepter bleeds. Unless my build link is incorrect…
Enfeebling Blood from Death Shroud is just preference, but it goes with the point of the build; to stack more bleeds in a short duration. It’s only a couple of more bleeds, but I actually never have a problem of being close enough to get it off. I guess it just goes with my aggressive playstyle.
Dodging to get the Mark of Evasion Proc, THEN using Death Shroud to get the fear off will open the gap back up once my initial set up is done. In that time, if you’re quick it’s also how you get your Geomancer sigil procs.

I play almost the same build and style with a few differences, thanks for sharing this because it has given me a few ideas, especially that nice combo you open with. I use different gear for an extra 40% bleed duration from runes and sigil.
Just wanna say thanks for sharing that build! It’s awesome.
Necro isn’t my main but I spend all my time in pvp and I was getting a little disappointed with the Necro class. Despite that, I still feel drawn to Necro because I prefer the dots playstyle. Guess what? Tried this build and went on to win 6 matches in a row with 4 of them, I was top scorer all thanks to your build.
Granted, this is in sPVP but it seems to rock especially in teamfights when you immediately get those 14 stacks of bleeding up across the enemy team. They just melt, haha. Even had a thief whisper me to say wtf when he tried to spam heartseeker on me and I killed him with his low hp.
Can’t wait to spend more time with this build.
Just to add one more thing, I used epidemic and corrupt boon. Swapped out plague signet for Blood is Power and the result was amazing. Big fan of the new change now.
Take a look at this build:
Blood is Power / Corrupt Boons take your pick!

I’m glad you enjoyed it! As I’ve said, personal preference, but the main purpose was to help people expand their styles of gameplay.
Ahh, that’s what I did a few times, but it seems like people are better about managing conditions, so I go for a mix, (hence nightmare) so I don’t lose out on trying to dish out damage, but still having some duration.

Seriously? That’s awesome! I’m glad it helped you. That kind of stuff makes me happy.
I will not give up on the Necromancer. We keep getting bug fixes, and it’s still got a high skill cap. I believe things like this, with the bug fixes, we’ve got more ways to find out how to be a better player. The class isn’t as broken as people might think, we’ve just got more difficult ways to set damage up. This build is perfect for me, and you as well it seems, haha.
And yes, some people won’t know what happened to them, it’s hilarious. Spam to win can fall prey to this easily. However, Plague Signet is like your bread and butter. I’d recommend keeping it, as the stun break and swapping conditions can mean the do or die in a fight against someone, like a GS Warrior. Your choice, though! If you’re having great success with it, by all means.
Epidemic is always helpful, but maybe experiment swapping that out for Blood is Power?
I also might experiment with a Power Build now that we have might stacks. Happy killing!

I think I’d take Corrupt Boon and switch out Epidemic for Blood is Power. It’s a hard choice though, as Epidemic can win a team fight no problem…I guess it’s all to be done with experimenting. Very unsure what I’d choose.
I’ve seen a lot of Condi builds take the Flesh Golem over Plague Form, but I’ve never tried it for myself. How is it?
This looks fun though, I’ll have to toy around with it. Thanks for sharing I’ll try it later today when I have time and let you know how it went.

Can’t believe this is hardly getting any attention… I’ve tried this build last night and i love it so much, i’m gonna stick with it for a while.
I actually managed to beat 2 thiefs in a 1vs2 with this.
I was defending clock tower and had put 2 marks down. All of the sudden they go off and i see 1 thief beating the crap out of me. I dogde away, put 3 marks down, dodge again and switch weapons. By this time the thief has 14 bleeds on him and i see his friend joining the “fun”, so i hit my Epidemic and dagger offhand 4&5 and i switch to DS so both of them now have roughly 16 bleeds while i’m in DS using Life Transfer.
What you see most thiefs do when they get low on health is they try to stealth away. But with all those bleeds, they didnt even make it to the edge of the platform that is the control point of clocktower… There is see their 2 helpless bodies on the floor looking at each other thinking “what the hell just happend!?”
It has it’s drawback with all the condition removal, but with this build, you can reapply bleeds so fast, it’s very VERY viable in spvp.

I’m happy to see more Necromancers doing the same thing, haha, but sometimes it was fun back then to see them get confused at all the damage I could dish out compared to them.
Yes, the best thing is finding thieves a few feet away downed from all the bleeds I’m happy you like it and are doing great with it. Life transfer with all the bleeds is my favorite thing – So many numbers.
I still have problems against classes like the Engineer, though. They seem to be immune to conditions.
