So, what’s the best way to get this gear at 80? I’ve decided to dump my “knight” stuff and respec for tank.

You can get 5/6 armor pieces with karma from the temples in Orr. Backpack from guild vendor and necklace, rings can be purchased from the trading post.

That’s the invader stat and can be bought from badge traders in WvWvW.

I don’t really recommend those stats on armor, but at least this way it’s free to aquire.

Fastest way to accumulate badges of honor is from the jumping puzzles btw.

You can also get this stat combo from AC – SE – HotW – Order of the Vigil if your a member – WvW Badges and Orr Temple Vendors. For Orr Temples you’ll have to visit different vendors to get em for different slots but note they do not have one for leggings for some reason.

I bought 2 pieces from karma vendors in Orr, and the rest from running AC a bunch.

Trinkets can be found in the WvW badges trader exclusively.

Higher-quality sources of power/vit/tough (as in, ascended or similar) will be:

Emerald Pendant, Lost Seal of Usoku(rings), Koss on Koss(Back item)

For highest PTV gain:
AC/SE/Hotw/Godkarma/Invader’s gear (any fill of these.. same bonuses)
Emerald Pendant
Lost Seal of Usoku x2
Invader’s Earrings x2
Invader’s Weapons
Crest of the Soldier x14 (for two-weapon full setup) which adds 20/14/14 to PTV in all your armor. (use these instead of jewels)

i saw a soldier ring / accessory but its rare and masterwork.. is there no exotic versions of these ?
