My question would be if you can acquire any of face paints later in game ?

I was unfortunate enough to delete mine and now then i finished my necro i really would like to have it for a head piece skin. Sadly all start items are soulbound so i cant transfer it also.

Step 1: Make a new Necromancer and finish tutorial
Step 2: Use Transmutation Stone on Face Paint to make it Account Bound
Step 3: Give it to your Main Necromancer
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit

That won’t work.
The “face paint” is soulbound, so you will not be able to interact with one of your other character. Like using a transmutation stone, the slot will become red.
And when you use a transmutation stone with the character who own the mask, still the final object is soulbound.
There is no way around:
-either you forget about having a “face paint”, or you are crazy, and you start over a new necro just to have this “mask”.
A friend of mine choose the second solution, and finally, it go pretty fast to get 80 with a bit of help (friend power leveling you in dungeon)

Wrong.

Get through the “tutorial”, buy any helm piece, transmute ( select the looks of your paint, the stats of the bought helm, but DO NOT select any runes ) and POOF: account bound paint \o/

My bad.
Using “Basic transmutation stone” or “Fine transmutation stone”, you get this warning in the bottom of the window:
“Warning: transmuting an item will make it soulbound”
But doing as Rhogall said, the item is account bound.

Confirmed. i did it with the accountbound holiday pack and the engineer pack. Now all my characters can sport the engi pack.

You have to transmute it with a white rarity piece of armor. A lvl10 headpiece sold from any armorsmith will do (you can use a basic stone).

Once you transmuted it, the new mask is now account bound.

You have to transmute it again with the character that will wear it (you’ll need a fine transmutation stone for lvl 80 gear). The new mask is now account bound to the new character.

Did it a couple of weeks ago.

Well I know what I’m doing over the next hour or so.

It is a fun little trick

Necro has the coolest starter headgear. So I have all three of them transmuted for my elementalist to use!
