Dark? Edgy? Please. I am a scientist, and have no need for your superstitious bookah nonsense about certain colours and macabre objects being required to perform the art of necromancy! Just because I study dead things does not mean that I need to dress like one!
oh the irony that you choose the Red + Green and looks like a rotting flesh :P
I love my fashion war necro
I love everything about this. “Let me show you boys a little curse I learned in ’nam”.
I’ve almost always made my Necro look bright, given that within six months of starting the game I had already crafted Bifrost and I wanted all of my looks to match it. I have a few edgy looks to match other items I have and concepts, but my favorite looks tend to be the more opalescent ones.
my male reaper uses the icy encasement outfit, and my female necro that will go into scourge is in the standard Dry Bones armor, with brown leather and bone motif.

Heh. OOC, I was going for colours that were associated with the colours of necromantic magic without going for the stereotypical black and/or white. Hence red and green.
The main idea, though, is that asura generally regard necromancy as being just another branch of magic, no different to mesmers and elementalists. Hence, apart from the colours, it’s an armour set that wouldn’t be out of place on a mesmer or elementalist. The colours are essentially the nod to the fact that this particular character is a necromancer… and hey, I already had enough characters in blues and golds.
I have quite the opposite fashion for my necro, I went for the angel of death motif.
4 wings…………………..
WUT ???
Well I don’t follow that rule. My necro was happy in pastels. But I change her look regularly, so that’s mostly depends on how I feel the day xD

Because I stand above all angels of death as the archangel. Jk it’s a bug you can get from dc/lagging while gliding. If you lag/dc between the time you glide and the time you land you could possibly replicate the the 4 angel wings I did before the game kicks you out. Just pull the plug on your LAN cable mid flight.
I…. wouldn’t exactly claim my necro to be “dark and edgy”… o_O
Results of my valiant struggle to make her look not like a hooker. Throw in nightfury bat effect as well – because after crafting it, I can’t afford not to use it :P

I see some slight midriff, you hooker!
Wish I would have taken a screenie of my scourge…I was pretty much the exact opposite
Grimdark really isn’t my thing.
Mine’s not dark or edgy! Well, I guess if someone thinks reddish tones are edgy, but even then he’s still not dark.
