I noticed the Necromancer stop to autoattack when entering Death Shroud and viceversa. Is that intended for some reason? or a bug? you need to manually use skill 1 everytime you go in or out of Death Shroud.

It happens when you swap weapons too. Kind of a quality of life feature to prevent needless Confusion damage when you swap to a melee auto attack.

Or something like that. In any case, any time your 1 skill changes (outside of chains), auto-attack stops.

And elite transformation returns, iirc.

What you taking about? of course the autoattack continue when changing weapons, even when an Elite ends the autoattack continue. The only thing stopping autoattack is death shroud even when it has the autoattack configured by default.

If you switch from staff to dagger the autoattack is continuous if you are in melee, or you just go to melee range and it will continue, without ever hitting skill 1.

Actually, it will not. If you use another skill (or instinctively hit 1 like I do), then the auto-attack re-engages, but if you just swap weapons and don’t use any skills, then it remains off.

To be honest this has always bothered me about DS. Ive just always worked around it.

Also we still dont have lich auto saving.

Yeah I’ve got all the auto crap off too.

Regular swaps do not interrupt the auto attack.

I have all that off aswell. And it keeps auto attacking. Entering/exiting DS is the only time it breaks.

I guess I would never notice since I press 1 anyway
