The new legendary seems to confirm that we will get torch with the elite spec, with its necromancy vibe. But does anyone else thing it looks like kitten? Or will you guys make it

I think it’s a little much, but I get it. For some reason, some legendaries take a whimical, comical route. Not exactly the image I see for any of my characters at least.

this torch doesnt have necromancy vibe. it has a balthazar model in it. god revered by warriors and elementalists.

I didn’t get the slightest necromancer vibe from this thing. I got a “decorative bedside table lamp” vibe, mostly. But as for game relevance, I got a “flaming god of war” vibe. Balthazaar (who is depicted on the weapon itself) is pretty much the opposite of cold calculating lingering death. And that’s kind of the necromancer’s thing.

I know that the leaks somewhat confirm torch as new e-spec weapon but how does the legendary imply it?

I got the vibe and thus said imply because of the surrounding candles, especially present in the precursor. Maybe in the new elite spec we set down 5 candles around a target to apply 1 burn stack or smthn ????

This is one of the most ridiculous lines of though that I’ve read on this forum since the day it was launched. Congratulations.

If the new elite specialization will have a torch I bet that the new collection torch’s skin will be cool. Dark Harvest is my 3rd favourite greatsword skin, i hope they’ll add some other great skins!

Flames of war don’t really give the necro vibe… I’m also a bit disapointed to see that the crimson flame effects that run up the arm do not extend to the skills effect. A necromancer need a dark torch with a greenish flame or something that seem to drip blood at the very least.
