Flesh Golem underwater plz!
It’s not just the Flesh Golem. I think a lot of skills should be given a function underwater.
-All minions
-All marks
-All wells
-Spectral Wall
I’d love to see marks, wells and walls be turned into an underwater sphere that you can pull enemies through, while retaining their original functionality.

Well of Darkness works underwater so shouldn’t the other Wells behave the same?
The wells work under water, that was changed some patches ago.

Yeah…..you’re a little behind. There are no marks underwater due to no staff. All minions work underwater except for the one mentioned, flesh golem. All wells already work underwater.
So we’re looking at Flesh Golem and Spectral Wall.

Flesh Golem doesn’t work underwater because they never added animations for it, and that would take resources away from other stuff to fix.
Only one elite per profession underwater.
Still, i wish UW combat and maps were more extensively developed.
Pretty sure all of the mesmers elites work under water.

And yes, I wish they would develop UW combat and maps more. A LOT more. I wish they would bring Raid of Capricorn back as well – at least for unranked.
I loved that map.
And I wish they would make the reapers new elite work underwater…

It isn’t just that flesh golem doesn’t work underwater – it is that minion masters underwater can’t use an elite, because it will unsummon all your minions. That restriction on elites makes underwater combat more restrictive for minion masters. Which hasn’t been a common complaint because so few necros use minions.

They’re basically removing all underwater content from the game, it’s been completely removed from PvP so far, and they’re ignoring the world completion stuff.
This part of GW2 is being swept under the rug and they’re hoping you’ll forget about it.
Also minions are bad and you should use a better build.
If anything, lich form needs to be made to work underwater since it’s key to dealing with tough champion mobs and etc, only reason it isn’t is because they couldn’t figure out a way to make targeted aoes work underwater. It won’t change though, because as above, anet just wants you to forget underwater content exists.

And its not like ANet is having those animators sit around kitten. You could use up an animators time fixing a fairly niche build on one profession in an extremely niche part of the game, or you could use their time for things like new enemies, new skills, new armor, etc. which have a much bigger payoff.
