I’m not sure what to use as my off-hand with a sceptre. I’m going condimancer and I’m not sure which to choose. I think dagger would be useful because you can transfer conditions and give other conditions but everyone says the bouncing regen and vulnerability is the best. Again, I think the dagger would be more useful with my build but I’m not sure, cause there’s loads of love for the focus on the forums. I don’t mind about crafting because I have a warrior who could craft daggers for me, so it doesn’t matter that I couldn’t craft daggers if I know artificer an tailor for my armour and other weapons. What’s your opinion on offhand for a condimancer?

In general, two best options for Conditionmancers OH are Dagger and Horn. Horn is a good option honestly and adds some swiftnes, but Dagger OH, as said, has blind, condition transfer, may chill with trait and has AoE weakness. I think you should check both

Speaking about Focus, it’s mostly the weapon of choice for Power Necromancer, especially those rolling with Axe and more dps builds. It offers hillarious vun stacking, some nice regen, AoE/Single Target very high damage and best of all, crazy Life Force generation. This thing alone can bring you about 20% LF back and and it has pretty low cooldown.

Generally condinecros take dagger offhand, mainly because of the extra bleeds and the conditransfer. While focus is ok to use as condimancer its more of a power offhand (vul stacks and focus kittens hard with 3 boons). I would go dagger offhand as condinecro mainly for the reason that focus 5 is so slow to cast (I hate slow non aoe skills).

Dagger is Scepter’s natural companion, while Focus goes with Axe.

current meta in wvw is still conditions so it’s always nice to send them back where they came from.
