Gathering Plague in underwater DS is awful
God yes it’s such a useless skill
from a supporting stand point it’s pretty good, taking conditions off of your allies. However, the weakness duration is far too short in my opinion. by the time you fire it off it’s already half over, and you will end up losing more damage yourself than the enemy will.
I’m more bothered by the fact that we are forced to take plague form underwater. This pretty much forces all necromancers to run a condition build if they know they will be fighting underwater, otherwise you’re stuck with an elite skill you’re better off never using.

TBH everything necros have for underwater is bad, especially the death shroud. The 1 skill attacks extremely slow and does less damage than Life blast. 2 is alright for the blind but still has a long cast time. 3 is pretty nice. And gathering plague just makes me sad.
I literally avoid water all the time, it was my favorite area in the beta weekends too.
Not being able to use wells, when guardians can use spells that do the same thing is baffling too.
The worst is the absolutely atrocious #1 attack on DS underwater. It’s like life blast except takes twice as long…and the attack does less damage besides. And it’s not like Life blast is some incredible attack to begin with.

I couldn’t tell because of the awful downed UI thing we get instead of making it a weapon kit like engineers, eles and any classes with transform mechanics get
Plague blast also transfers conditions, thats what this is intended for use with.
