I have found only green lucky rabbit’s foot trinkets and blue amulet and blue rings from cursed shore for prec/tough/condition damage. For jewels rare rabids.

Is there any better gear of this type? Or is this best I can get? I just don’t want to waste time looking for something that isn’t possible.

Nothing better for those stats. Probably better to get Carrion exotics.

thats the best non-exoctic gear, I would personally go for carrion

Though you should also consider the Vit/Tough/Power when you accumulate enough badges. My condition damage is already quite high, and I can afford that swap.

I went with the Coral Orichialcum accessory sets.

That with the khilbon’s set gives me 57% crit. Omnomnom, I am still very survivable from the toughness on my gear.

i went with coral as well, though i think one ring i went pow/vit/cond instead
51% crit w/ staff, 45% with scepter (scepter/horn are prec/tough/cond, scepter is power/prec/cond)

it’s left me with north of 1.2k cond. dmg, and a high crit rate, and a decent bit of power for attacks that scale with power.. i’m not exactly a hard target though i am rocking a spattering of toughness and a little vitality, but hey! that just means I gotta work at not getting it! gives me something to do

atm i have all carrion gears: armor, weapons and jewels..
but i’m interested by this gear.. and i’m buying by karma vendors in the orr..
or u can buy from the vendor in llion’s arch with farming a dungeon that i don’t remember wich is.
but for the weapons and jewels exotic condi/tough/pre set?? do they exist??

Exotic weapon with this prefix exist, but jewels do not.

I dropped about 45g yesterday on the khilbon set, mystic sceptor, bramblethorn, and coral orich accessories. Lots of gold, but MAN I can feel the difference. I’m rocking double earth signets in my sceptor/dagger and I can push a 15 stack pretty quickly if I get luck, 10-12 baseline.

You can get the four pieces of the “rabid” modifiers (same as Khilbon) from the temples in Orr for merely Karma — one monthly karma completion with a +karma booster is almost two pieces by itself.

The chest is normally 5-6g. The boots are like 20g and its silly to spend that amount when you can just use Carrion for one slot.

Bramble is like 3g. Not sure about the scepter.

I think I paid 6 or so for the sceptor and somewhere in the same ballpark for bramblethorn.

no reason to pay so much, scepter is only 75 ancient logs, 30 mystic coins, and 50 skill points. skill points are cheap..

Just a tip: You can get prec/tough/cond armor/weapon pieces from many dungeons. It’s only like 3-5 runs to get one piece so not a big effort timewise if you find a decent L80 group for each run. I do not find khilbron’s worth of all that gold I think it only has rarity value. Karma pieces should be bought from orr temples it is by far easiest way to get it if you do a little WvW/event farming for karma.

But anyway now lets keep this at accessories/amulets/rings/jewels please

Btw has anyone found good backpieces suitable for this type of set anywhere else than guild vendor and story?

Out of curiosity what is the community consensus on trinkets, 3 carrio 2 rampagers or 5 carrion(condition build). I am personally leaning towards 3/2

I guess that depends on PvE vs WvW. I only WvW, and roll 5x Carrion (though I will likely drop the amulet for Soldiers from Badges).

I think the best back piece is probably the guild one with power, toughness, and vitality.

I thought the Halloween one was good at first, but you can’t put a Crest of the Rabid in it.

They really need to add exotic rabid accessories and jewels.

If you absolutely “must” have the rabid accessories, the closest you can get is to buy the yellows then slot in crest of the rabids (rares).

i wanna craft the crossing and i’ll need a lot of gold.. so.. 3 golds less are a breath
