Guild Wars 2

I’ve been playing around with various necro builds based around the blood magic trait line and siphoning and wanted to know what people’s opinions are on the best gear set for those types of builds. So far it seems like soldier’s gear is pretty solid, but a knights/valk mix or zerker may also be good. I will be using the build for WvW solo/small group roaming. I will not be doing any PvE whatsoever. Thanks.

WvW solo? Zerker all the way. NPCs and solo players will melt, just stay away from anything bigger than 3 players (or a little more if you are good).

I’ve been running Knight’s with a life siphon build and have been satisfied with it so far.

I run Knights gear on my siphon build. Toughness helps keep you alive in dagger melee and increases the effective power of each siphon heal. Precision is useful for all the on crit siphon effects, such as vampiric precision, sigils of blood, omnomberry ghost etc.

Thanks for the replies, after some testing it looks like knights will be the best set-up for what I want.
