I got lucky and found a sclerite weapon ticket from the random box at Southsun Cove.

As I see it the only class that can pull off wielding such a gruesome weapon is the necromancer.

Since I don’t have the time right now to develop a new character and learn all the things I should about necros, I ask for advice.

What sclerite weapon should I get for my future necro? What weapon will I most definitely use?

Most Necros use Staff in some capacity but honestly it is a skin so I recommend simply going with the best look in your opinion. After a while you pick up decent skins for most weapons and will likely switch builds from time to time anyway.

That depends on what kind of build are you thinking about. Would you prefer using a condition build or a power build?

If you’re not sure yet the safest bet would probably be staff as it’s used in most builds with only a handful of exceptions like Nemesis’ hybrid build., though it’s rarely the main weapon due to long cooldowns on marks.

I’ll probably try a condition build first as that’s something I haven’t really tried on my other characters yet. But I might change my mind.

I prefer bigger skins like staff, axe and scepter. I won’t get aquatic ones for sure.

The sclerite staff is relatively small I believe. I’d recommend the sclerite scepter.

Personally the dagger was the only one I liked. So I got that for my power build.
