I’m sorry, but you do realize you’re playing an MMORPG right? GW2 was originally criticized for not being grindy enough. Gold sinks and grinding are absolutely necessary parts of the game.

What do you need gold for anyway? A cosmetic item? Well guess what, just like in the real world, you need to work for it. Every single meaningful grind in this game is either for a very small and unneeded stat boost (ascended), or for looks (things like cultural armor). You don’t need money for anything. If you want those things though, you have to work for it.

They’ve actually done something no other MMORPG (to my knowledge) has done, and that’s removed grinding as being necessary to being able to play the game. You can very easily play GW2 without needing to grind at all.

What I found amusing is any armour class can use it (the helmt at least, I assume the whole set).

Yes! Hopefully this is a paving stone to getting rid of armor class. It really is an outdated mechanic.

What armor is that? (Except for the head ofcourse.)

Head → Grenth hood obviously
Mantle → Exalted Mantle
Chest → Trickster’s Vest
Gloves → Trickster’s Gloves
Legs → Trickster’s Leggings
Feet → Trickster’s Shoes

I might find some different gloves and boots at some point. Hopefully I can get a buy order filled on the mantle.

replace gloves with arah gloves, and boots with something (like kodan boots) and it will be perfect.

Arah used to be my No1. Necro to be – skin, but scince the release of grenth hood, I’ve found better !

Darn it! Its cosmetic junk like this that makes me sad I made an Asuran Necro…or an Asuran anything. Well except Asuran engi…kitten hobosack kitten thing needs to go away.
