I hate fighting guardians for a number of reasons.

However, the biggest reason is that I can’t seem to remove any of their boons even though we have an ability that clearly states it removes ALL boons.

This generally works on other classes, but it seems to never work on guardians. Do they have something that prevents their boons from being removed? Is it just another bug?

Maybe it’s just blocked by the Aegis boon. That procs on them roughly every 40 seconds.

My boon purging on them works fine, make sure you’re in range and facing them properly too.

They also reapply buffs quickly at times.

Guardians just have alot of boons/ On small amount of boons use spinal shivers. When he pops Save yourself (when all the boons are up on the guardian) than you would want to pop Corrupt boons. Never earlier

Yes, that’s what I try to do, save my corrupt boon for when he pops that ability that gives him a ton of boons.

The problem is that it’s not removing those boons.

It is bugged, can cleanse every other class, guardian buffs wont come down.
Used also spectral grasp on a guardian in wvwvw several time, I always got pulled to him instead he to me.

Watch for aegis said above, It does work Because i use a different way of removing boons. Well of corruption, works in this kind of situation

Aegis will block it. But all you have to do is hit an auto attack first to remove aegis.

Yes, get rid of Aegis first. It’s extremely annoying that Corrupt Boon can’t corrupt Aegis but sadface is life for necros.

Also note they have an ability to convert conditions into boons, so that could be happening as well.

Use the well of Corruption its better in every way compared to corrupt boon. Sure you gotta go in melee range, but not like we can really kite people anyways our mobility is trash.
