Hard time with condi necro in sPvP
Well the best condi build I’ve found is basically a carrion version of the cele signet build with condi weapons, spite signet, terror, and FtG (dhuumfire sucks kitten. It has good burst condi application and the transfers are strong, but the sustained damage is really bad so you’ll do no damage in teamfights. If anything has enough health to outlast a spite signet/terror burst or whatever, it’ll take way too long to kill them.
Right now, the only way I could see it competing with cele signets is if we had a dire amulet, PoC and terror were seperated, and if the sustained pressure was buffed a little. No point in using terror off cooldown while your 8 second bleeds tick for 117 damage. Just making the scepter auto do 2 stacks of 3 second bleeds would be better than the garbage we have now.
Condi reaper could be a thing due to damaging chill and AoE dhuumfire, but its too soon to tell.
Taking a break from GW2 to play various
Nintendo games..
Do not bother with condition on any class especially necro scepter/dagger are weak links and they gutted it with new Dhummfire,PoC and Terror on same tier, bleed nerf, lost of condition duration,Lingering Curse, overall game power creep etc. I would say the same for powermancer the viable necro specs are hybrid-ish MM and cele variations (signet or well). I do not trust Reaper to revive it but we’ll see doubt it will based on the devs’ record.
3 more years to go.
The Dhuumfire thread
ive been having fun with this one, i must be the only person taking spiteful spirit in these forums. Only advice i can give you is learn to hide behind obstacles, time your corrupt boon or your burst very carefuly, dont just spam skills, and play more around the point with an exit ready.. Find and bomb a target that has blown cooldowns (ele out of water, ranger after SoS or Healing spring).
if you wanna have some fun get sos and epidemic and in a midfight cast these on a ranger pet:P fails alot but it can be glorious
