Hi, I haven’t played gw2 since august but figured i’d get back into it since I got bored of the new wow expansion.

What’s changed about Necro since August? I remember them not really being good but I still enjoyed them. I mosty used scepter/horn and staff.

Necro is very good but have survivability/mobility problems if someone from your team not babysitting you. It’s the “focus the necro meta” because its 100% fast and free kill when focused. So if your team is not good at helping you survive focus then good enemy team can make you total useless for the whole match and you will have a lot of downstate and running back and forth.

axe got some love in september and now viable power weapon.

Also recently with all the celestial cleansebots runing around, power necro seems better than condi even in real tournaments.

Necro hasnt changed in any substantial way. Its still bottom for PvE. Good for WvW zerging. And ok in sPvP despite still having major problems.

Honestly I dunno what was going on but I was getting in matches with high mmr people and wrecking on my power necro and I was using the new fitg.

Well, they’ve broken the Superiour Rune of Summoning, and that’s a bind to me.

I am quite interested in your build myself… I have opted to use it in a Zerk build, but could never find myself to sacrifice the damage for it…

Number 1 change is that women do not yawn and stretch.

Also, the September patch was buggy as heck but is mostly fixed. Minions became even dumber and something wonky happened with targeting that I am not sure is fixed.

Oh, and personal story is getting fixed (reverted to pre-September), soon, too.
