Hello Everyone,

I seem to be having trouble getting more than 20 badges a night in WvW with my Necro. Currently I switch between a Well build and a Shroud Build.

But cant seem to get more than 20 badges in a night. While others in my Guild seem to get 10 badges in a single encounter!!

What am I doing wrong? Is it my build? should I be doing Something else so I can tag more ppl? or what?’

Any constructive help would be appreciated.

The most effective way to tag for badges with this class is to wellbomb with full berserker gear on. Go to an enemy bl, flip a camp and wait for a small group to gank for badges.

If you spec 20 into Death Magic for “Staff Mastery” and “Greater Marks,” and 20 into Spite for “Spiteful Marks,” you won’t have any problem:) You don’t even need berserker gear; I run a condition build and do just fine with those traits.

You could also farm jump puzzles for your daily 25.

Are your other guild mates glass cannon eles? Because 20 badges a night sounds good to me and I WvW with my engi, necro, and thief.

Fighting small groups probably won’t get you there because I found such encounters too few and far between. Fighting in zergs means competing with everyone else for damage. Heck I tend to average 1 bag of loot per 3 kills, and 1 badge per 3 bags. Of my over 300 badges in 3 months, 70% of them have probably come from the borderlands jumping puzzle.

No, the guildmates im speaking of are warriors , bunker and suppot front line type warriors. Some guardians also. Glasscannon types dont survive much for the front lines that i can tell.

Maybe i should do more aoe condition dmg and/or well dmg. I like surviving front lines but dont like my badge per night count.

Its frustrating and makes me wanna play other classes so i can get the gear to fit my necro.
