Q:
+Healing, Which abilities if any does it benefit?
A:
A post I made on Reddit on this topic: http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/10wgz2/how_healing_affects_necromancers/
I didn’t cover (and still don’t know) how +healing benefits Transfusion or Deathly Invigoration.
Deathly Invigoration is the one i wonder about as it would seem like a nice skill to use. I Ran a weird DS build where you use Near Death to pop in and out of DS every 5 seconds to get Boons or Pre-Post Ds Effects. So I thought Near Death + DI for a healing skill Per 5 seconds? I didn’t have healing Equipment though so I couldn’t test it out unfortunately. Would be nice to know if someone checked it out.
As for healing skills in general…It was ok….went full healer as a necro once. Well of blood was insane for healing….but was disappointed at how lackluster it is with Dagger skills:/
Necro has the least skills that benefit from +healing.
In general its is terrible scaling on a necro compared to other classes.
Well of Blood is the biggest one, and the regen on staff 2. Thats pretty much it.
Transfusion doesnt benefit from +healing. All siphons don’t benefit.
I’m not sure Deathly invigoration benefits, but the heal it does is pretty low.
In almost all respects its better to just go buffer tank and play DPS.
deathly invigoration has a horrible base heal and it scales with 0.4*healing;
transfusion is still better if you dont have tons of healing.
it really makes you cry if you compare it to other classes’ heal-abilities and scaling.

Something I noticed during a dragon fight was that Transfusion doesn’t seem to have a limit on the number of targets it can heal. Even if it doesn’t scale with healing power, it could still be pretty powerful with enough nearby targets.
