Help With Build
I run a build that allows me to sit in Deathshroud for a long time and then quickly refill my Life force in order to jump back in.
As far as armor goes, I would either go with PVT or Knight’s with a few pieces of Berserker so you have decent damage. I prefer to reach 50% crit out of DS but 30% would be fine if you have 15 in Curses. So if you spec for 15 in Curses just go for a mix of PVT/Knights/Berserkers. The important thing is to have 100% crit in DS and to have high armor rating.
I could change all he Gems to P/P/CD and get Soliders Helm, Shoulders, Hands and Feet. This would reduce my health to 22,400 with my Toughness at 1,669 and power at 2,046 and would give me 48% Crit Chance outside of DeathShroud using 25 stacks of Perception
From Exquisite Azurite Jewel(P/T/V) to Equisite Opal jewel(P/P/CD)
without the gem change: 23,500Health, 1,728 Toughness and 2009 Power, 41% CC and 46% CD
With gem change: 22,400 Health, 1,669 Toughness and 2,048 Power, 48% CC and 64% CD
It seems a reasonable change and would give me 98%Crit Chance inside DeathShroud and a decent increase in Crit Damage
Try cranking as much power out of your might buffs. (you can can reach close to 4k attack)
Signet of spite/blood is power, trait the signets cooldown.
Can Crit 6k hits in DS.
But then again you could just roll mesmer ^^

I already have a Level 80 Mesmer, unfortunately its not really that challenging as a Mesmer any more :/
I was thinking about Signet of Spite, but seeing as how i have pretty much no condition damage except for when i have Might the Signet active would go to waste. Though Blood Is Power is pretty decent but not quire sure how i could fit it into the build, would it be worth taking without the cool down traits and such?
Yeah taking the Vul stacking combined with Might i can hit pretty decent numbers
Its just some suggestions to boost the damage output. it works well for me in a pve team comp.

I still cant decide on the Offhand set, i was kind of thinking Scepter due to the Poison on the auto attack pair it with Focus and i have 2 skills that deal more damage based on how many boons or conditions the target has
Signet of Spite is great in PvP even as power because the passive gives you nice damage boost, and the active doesnt need to deal lots of bleed/poison damage to be effective, its the blind/weakness/vuln/reduced healing all at once that make it a good skill to turn a fight in your favor.
