I came up with this armor combination for my male Human Necro. I’m not quite satisfied with the colors though (combination of Midnight fire/ice/yew in the pic). Any suggestions?

Also, if anyone knows any other good Human light armor combinations, feel free to share.

It’s expensive, but you might like Abyss dye.

I abuse my Abyss/celestial/blood dyes. Abyss is really worth it on light sets, it isn’t as pitch-black as the Midnight sets, but its a more pure black, and doesn’t completely obscure all the detailing in the higher end light sets.

Everybody seems to love the “Black & White”…

I went ahead and separated myself from the rest of the trendy “Black & White” Hipster crowd.

Sapphire, Iron, Sand, Tangerine, Lifesblood, Gray, Antique Gold, and Dust.

8 different colors.

Iron, Sincerity, Brick/Midnight Ice are my tops.

So you call us hipsters, yet use Orrian. Then go on to choose the most nonnecromancer color scheme ever.

No help here. I change colors pretty often (and clothing styles.) I should post some of the looks but I’m not that bored. It is more fun to mix colors while waiting for an event than to post them.

Edit: looking at your armor, I would mix royal blue/purple, robin’s egg and a matching ice for a rich blue theme with coordinated hues. Go for more a bit contrast and lighter colors. Green and blue struggle to work together so beware their mix. Greens, yellows, reds and browns are easier to mix. I had one version using walnut, emerald, and a lighter green that seemed to match. I recently made a swimsuit for krait hunting using yellow that faded to orange with red highlights. My aetherblade set uses indigo, a subdued lighter purple and mithril highlights on the metal bits.

Get the colors to match, yet contrast, but do not go too dark or you will lose detail. Sometimes it is all right to clash. I have made pretty convincing Santa suits and even matched my blue quaggon pack down to a very close pink for the mouth.

I think OP’s color is pretty good lol. Really don’t know what aspect you’re not satisfy. Everyone has different taste. I like midnight fire’s absolute darkness, but Bhawb and some others may find it lack of details.

Shamelessly link the combination on my condition set which mainly consist of midnight fire and redemption:

Also a note, Abyss is true black, whereas midnight dyes have a hue to them that come out in certain color schemes (and they look really weird on certain armor types, like leather). On the other hand, Midnight dyes, when they stay black, are a deep, deep black.

But overall, just get a bunch of dyes. I regularly, like every week or so, completely change my scheme.

If you aren’t doing a guild color scheme…for a Necromancer I’d go with ‘rotting’ colors. Tarnish and Patina are both browns with a neat effect that they blend to a sickly green on edges. This effect doesn’t appear with every piece of armor but it’s worth checking out. Heirloom does the same thing but blends from a deep red to a brown. Evening Grass is a nice dark green. I’d go with a combination of those colors.

The problem is that each set has different color effect on them. On some sets Abyss will look lighter than grey on other sets. Not to mention people abuse Abyss dye, yet in my opinion it kills the armor details on many sets.

However I can name some dyes that I love and used a lot on my necromancer: Evergreen, Charcoal, Pitch, Emerald, White Gold, Midnight rust.
