I need help. I was away from game around 10months and last time i player power necro was ok/good. So have a GS build with all power (berserker gear). But now started to read it’s bad and not good any more.
So need to invest into new gear.
Read that Viper gear with condi build is good. But question is do i try to gear up my necro from new, or do i switch classes? Have a tempest that i played a bit. So maybe i should go just tempest to enjoy play more. As now i feel i do not that much dmg when going in PvE.
I would wait with investing anything right now as the next Xpac will be released 22nd of September…
Anet promised a buff to Power Reaper by then so your gear won’t be wasted (hopefully) by then..
I would also wait with the viper gear since Scourge will be the main condi spec for Necro.. This might need different stat combo than Viper..
In the mean time: just enjoy your Reaper… You will indeed read a lot of complaints about the class since it realy lacks in a lot of areas where other classes can fart out much better utlities.. But that doesn’t mean Reaper isn’t a blast in PvE to play..
But until then, yes Viper and the condi builds outshine the pure Power reaper spec.. But do you realy want to invest so much for only a month?
wait for the upcoming Changes for Power reaper…… hope devs not forgot it this time….
thats what im doing….
i bet we will get some slight dmg buffs but they wont actualy fix any of the major issues..
so my rev in full ascended gear is ready and waiting for me to throw Power Necro into the trash just waiting for those changes to see if its worth playing power necro for the future….
