How Do You Deal with Lupi?
Flesh Wurm and Plague both work well to avoid it, but I also think that Dark Path can be used to get out of it. Don’t quote me on Dark Path, though, as I haven’t personally tested it.
That’s a bummer, having to burn an elite.
You can use dark path to get out or you can use plague/lich form. Or just hope you have enough life force to stay alive inside the bubble with DS. Flesh wurm is also an option. Best way is just to not get bubbled though.
for lupi I run flesh worm (set up on the edge of the ring), stability well, plague, and spectral walk. It takes practice but if you see lupi coming for you, you can use spectral walk to run in, get bubbled, and teleport back to the starting location.
Run with staff at 1200 away and waiting when warrior mesmer and guard kills him..
Stability well worked for me about a month ago.
Run with staff at 1200 away and waiting when warrior mesmer and guard kills him..
Or option two, stand outside of the room and go get a coffee whilst he is taken down by said warriors, mesmers and guards.

Thats too noticeably, you have to at least imitate activity, or they could kick you
Dark path flies so slow you’ll still take a hit or two if bubbled, but at least it’s only LF not your health. Wurm has super long CD but it’s better than nothing. If you have endurance left you can double dodge within the bubble.
Have endurance food/energy sigil since you have only 1 dodge every 20s and you need 2 for aoe and 1 for kick in phase 2. People that say they don’t need are probably ranging and don’t get much aggro. If you range and get aggro, your endurance will only be enough for its charge, and you will be screwed by its aoe.
Wurm is actually quite good, but my personal favorites are Energy sigils and FitG (one of those cheat the fight with it cases where it can be slotted in now over DP unlike before when it was the default 30 SR GM trait).
with deathsroud you can withstand 2 bubble after each other and im not even tryited in it lol.

Are you wearing soldier? (or just trolling) Because DS is 60% of your hp that means each bubble only takes you less than 30% of your health!? I’ve never seen anyone that tanky.

Pretty sure any class can tank the bubbles in soldier gear…
How do you manage to fight lupi with minions? Lupi spawns bugs off of your minions in phase 1, insta kills them in phase 2 and absorbs life off of them in phase 3. The bone minions and jagged horrors don’t know whether to attack him or not, and if your groups are like mine, we kite him all across the battlefield meaning he’ll eventually get to your flesh wurm. To survive, I usually try to avoid the aoes by moving around, saving my dodges for when he steps to me. I usually switch all my utility slots to other untraited skills. If he bubbles me, I pop ds to survive. If he bubbles me again, I’ll likely be downed but I suspect that I could survive if I’m careful.

Phase 1 is joke easy
phase 2 yes instakill them with the aoes but not always all of them and the summon CD is low so in my opinion it doesent realy matters.
fleshworm makes the boss teleport to it instead of players can save lifes. especialy if someone needs ressing.
also the aoe siphon heals your deathshroud.
in phase 3 your minions barely ever dies the boss is phatetic in p3 if you survive p1 and 2 then P3 is a joke. also in P3 the boss stops using teleport so your fleshworm stays alive.

Don’t ware zerker gear. (At least 1 defensive stat on gear should really do)
Have 1 support in the group. (Pref guard/ele/eng that can help heal you when it all hits the fan)
Plauge & Litch both give stablity. 30 points soul reaping can too.
Spect Armor can really shine here.
Signet of Undeath also really helpful. Not only dose it top up your life force gen, but a ranged res can save groups/bring necro some group love.
If you use minions in phase 3 you will do negative dps. Dont be that guy.
Grubs always prioritise players in phase 1 since they fixed it. The only grub which doesnt follow this rule is the grub on phase 1 -> phase 2 switch. Which always appears on the closest player, minion, clone, pet or npc to lupi on phase switch.
Also taking defensive stats is a sure way to screw up aggro and maybe get you the majority of focus from lupi’s attacks. Which I assume you dont want unless you can solo lupi pretty comfortably.

that’s what I want the majority of focus lol most of the time im the only guy in the dungeon that basically can make a comeback when everyone is down bicous I don’t go down in secs from anything.
btw in soldier gear and with 30% minion dmg + minion life siphon those minions deal some massive dmg. +yours. btw I never saw the boss hp go up in Phase 3 are you sure it heals lol ?

In phase 3 he has 2 lifesteal attacks. The aoe lifesteal where he floats up in the air. And the single target life steal which you have to double dodge (points at his target). So yes you will do negative dps with minions, especially if you are in soldier gear (seeing as your personal dps wont counter the amount of life he steals from your minions). Your group was probably carrying you enough to out dps your lupi support.
