Just wondering… it seems like the Devs are really determined to not give Necromancers stability (Other than elite and 30 points into Soul Reaping). The buffs Necromancer received this patch was nice, but we still have a weakness of being chained CC to death and not being able to do much about it.

We’re fine.

Lack of stability was an issue when we also had horrible stunbreakers. Now that we have decent stun breakers, we’re pretty leveled with other classes. Only Warrior and Guardian have easy access to stability, which is ok because they’re the most melee focused classes.

Its a deliberate design choice, some professions simply do not get a reliable Stability. This list is not limited to Necro but also includes Engineer (random diceroll boon on long cooldown) and Thief (Stealing it from others)

It’s fixed theres 1 sec on well of power
would be cool if we get 2 sec of stability for shroud by default and 3-4 more via the trait for longer duration

Well there’s Foot in the Grave and Plague. The former not half bad. Plague is fine for pushing through stuff, or getting into a sieged keep. (and a lot of other stuff, but that’s besides the point)

Can’t have it all you know? And sure, positioning is important. Once you get sucked into the void, often times it’s game over.

Can’t say I feel OP, but I ain’t complaining either. (so I probably am :p)

Yeah, stability is meant to be elusive for us. Just part of the prof; we shine elsewhere.

Chained CC and focus fire is a Necromancer’s weakness. That’s as-designed.

Just like a Guardian’s is boon stripping, and a thief’s weakness is …umm.. stealth traps and lag spikes.
