I ask because I’ve been pvping on my d/d bunker/condition ele recently (carrion amulet), and by far the class that gives me the most trouble are necros. They seem to have great survivability while still being able to wreak havoc with conditions. Are they just a good counter to my class/build, or have they seen enough buffs recently to render them a major threat?

Necro is a bit shy of being a perfectly balanced class imo. They have some builds pretty effective against d/d ele if played properly though, yes.

I enjoy fighting ele’s as a necro. we are no longer easy pickings ;-)

Your problem is that you’re a condition build. A necro will either heal off or turn your major source of damage against you without any effort.

If you were oriented more towards direct damage you’d have a better chance, but as it stands your Churning Earth is a giant, glaring ‘kill me’ signal.
