I covered this in my build earlier but I thought this deserves a thread on its own. My own ranger is personally using this build now and I chow into enemies quite readily (especially necros – Lynnie killed my ranger previously with his nec… full credits to him, but I wasn’t using this build then XD)

I have fought rangers similar to my own ranger build above and I don’t really know how to fight them on my necro.

Quickdraw Remorseless Wolf/Dog LB rangers
-4 disables on their pets alone,
-Longbow4 knockback,
-quickdraw gives them a 2-3 second double 900+ range leap =/ insane kiting and
-when swapping back to LB, quickdraw activates again for another double knockback or double rapid fire = doom
-not including all their utilites and elite =/

in open field without LOS, I can’t just turn around and run either unlike against a mesmer that blinks away to kite, because now ranger LB got a baseline of 1500 range.

This is pretty much the only enemy right now that I feel I have to play a perfect game to have a semi decent chance of winning.

I demand another fight then!
Yeah, without LoS this build is really really hard to beat. I don’t like to say impossible, so i’ll “really really hard”. xD

although admittedly he wasn’t that good, but your method worked great lol.
it became much easier to fight now.

That has been my secret for a long time. It’s really helpful against those rangers who are not so fast in controlling if you know what i mean.

Some people usually do duels in Obsidian Sanctum. Other than that you have to walk around and pick fights, and most of times it will be outnumbered.

I vastly prefer power Necro to condi in WvW if only because it doubles as a backline zerger and a strong roamer with few modifications… and it matches my PvE gear fairly closely. Still, a condition redirect Necro is very powerful in the right hands right now and is exceptional at maintaining control of a fight. Good video!

Is there a sPvP version of this? The closest I see regularly is Cele Signet but it seems weak in comparison.

Sadly, doesn’t. Condi necro is fairly weak in Spvp, so you better going celestial signet there.

Yeah, that method is pretty good. Since some people are asking, i’ll try to make commentary videos, but english is not my main language, and probably will take a comment on ranger fights.
I only can’t beat 1 LB ranger in our WvW tier, like i told you, beaten him only once.
