Guild Wars 2

I have tried playing as a variety of classes (Human engineer, norn guardian) and i have not gotten very far, most recently i tried a Syvari Necro and i dont know if I should. Im gong to mostly play pve. Is the class good? Any suggestions on what i should play, im very into rpgs but im very new to mmos. What class and race should i play?

What kind of playstyle do you enjoy?
What kind of things do you like to do in PvE?

As for race — what are you struggling with?

Play whatever you enjoy, not what is good right now.

If you just wanna play in the usual open world or go in casual dungeons runs it dosn’t rly matter what you play, but if you considering to run in more organized dungeons groups, who are trying to be effective as possible, you are more welcome if you have a Guard, Warrior or Elementalist, they pretty much the best class for dungeons groups (Thief and Mesmer still rly good in some dungeons for their unique utility).

At least … Necro is still very strong in WvW and PvP
