Guild Wars 2

I always hear how we should spec according to our playstyle, but I hath no idea what my playstyle actaully is. As I understand it, the necro has very view viable builds with respect to the glitches and mechanics. Conditionmancer being the best from what heard (but still not enought to match up to other professions’). Really I like to choose what the most optimal build overall is since I cannot really decide between any (ex. say, power (crit) or condition focused). With those two alone both hath downsides and upsides to them.

The build I am aiming for is this. (currently 80)

Thoughts on this? I hear to get as much toughness as possible or go for conditions since overall that is the best necros can do, and many other things. Doth what it is I do matter (PvE, PvP, WvWvW), because I really I just need to start going for dungeons.

don’t think of it as “power, crit, condition spec” think of it as a combination of utilities. So look at it like “wells, blood magic, condition, minion master, death shroud”. Then pick up the stats best for your playstyle within that category.

so for example, if you’re doing a death shroud build you might want to bring spectral utilities as they generate a lot of life force. Since death shroud, it’s utilities and the axe/warhorn combo (the best weapon set for death shroud IMO) all rely on physical damage, you might want to get a high power/toughness/vitality.

i just fo full spite , soul reaping and thoughness (cant remember tree name) works nice.

Look at your utility ability categorization:

Corruption
Well
Minion
Spectral
Signet

Youre traits can buff any one of those, start there. Keep in mind that Wells are buffed by ‘Power.’
