It’s much faster now and feels really smooth. Also now i can have reaper’s touch regularly in my otation, before the cooldown was too high.

It’s faster because the cast time is 1/2s with trait and 3/4 without it. Much smoother at the 1/2s speed but should be the same across both versions. I’m slightly concerned anet is going to “fix” this by just making both traited and untraited 3/4s cast time.

They did say that they were looking at reducing some of our cast times. This could be one of them. Though I have a feeling that this might have been an accident. I’ll be looking to see if this gets changed back to 3/4 in the next patch.

The lower cast time is great, the reapers touch traited animation however.. why was that even changed?

I think it is a bit smoother now; I’m not 100% sure but I think it made it go out faster too.

My Reaper’s Touch is doing around 1.5k x 3 + stacks 12 vulnerability + Regeneration on myself all that on 14 seconds cooldown. My spinal shivers does up to around 3.5k if the enemy had 3 boons.

I truly love it

I have to say, I was really enjoying the Chill of Death trait in WvW last night. It felt like I just had to look at someone with low health and they would drop. Combined with my chill duration set up, no one was escaping our group! There aren’t very many useful traits in the Spite tree when you’re going for Close to Death, but an extra Spinal Shivers is great fun!

what builds are you guys using? would like to see your setups for wow, i just cant seem to make anything work better than condo/terror or well bomber.
