Improved UI for necromancers
Been suggested before + we need to see cooldown of utility skills in DS.
Please anet, lower the skill ceiling for necromancers, turn us into a running joke.

+1. It is not uncommon at all for any game with transforms to have CDs hidden. Its really not hard to get a sense for your CDs if you’re paying attention. Its actually a nice skill thing to separate people who really understand what they’re doing from someone who is newer.
You mean there are people who don’t have an innate sense for when their DS spells are off cd?
Lolrerollers.
-1 to this suggestion.
This is one of the things that we have to demonstrate our mastery on the profession. Showing CDs is just dumbing this profession down.
Now, one thing regarding cooldowns that I can support? Show in trait tooltips what the ICD is.
One thing about cooldowns that needs to happen is for them to stop being full duration if you use a instant skill to self interrupt the action… such countless times marks and lich form dont pop but still go on cd just because of dooming or swalking…
It isn’t fundamentally a bad idea, but it is of paramount importance for the UI to remain as clean as possible. You’ll eventually get an intuitive feel for your DS cooldowns so I’m inclined to think this isn’t a necessary addition.
How to Condi Reaper on a budget
Everything I say is only in reference to PvE and WvW.
Eventually your head will count for you, your brain will learn how to count down 17-20 seconds and before you know it, you will never go into DS without doom off CD.

This.
I’ve been asking for visible CD timers for inactive engineer kits ages ago, others for the same with elementalist stances. No reaction. Then again, once you learned to juggle with a three kit build, DS seems easy to handle.
Semi off topic, the target unit frame in top center annoys me much more, colliding with ground target spells and limiting distance sight.
Pet project: Outfit overhaul.
I support this change… There is a difference between challenge and impractical. You can but octagon shaped tires on a car. Sure you can call it a challenge… But your suspensions kittened when you get to where you’re going anyways.

Except DS cooldowns are made around its usage uptime vs cooldown, every second DS youll get a 2 and 3, 4 (and now 5) every third or fourth if you used Doom on a quick tap as a defensive tool… Ofc 2 traits kinda tend to screw up the exact timings but whatever. DS cooldowns showing are like on the bottom 5 lines of the “kitten to fix and improve on necro” 10 page list.
