The time is up, make the skill work as intended so it is useful.

I was thinking of it as of a 1-person 1-way mesmer portal.

As with everything necro, the skill only teleports you a bit towards the point and doesn’t even work when verticality comes into consideration.

It does work vertically the same as other blinks, it just requires more finese to pull off than most.

To make it work like a 1 person, 1 way mesmer portal, Flesh Wurm would have to be summoned at your location. Otherwise, the skill invalidates jumping puzzles and some environmental design by not enforcing the pathing restrictions that apply to all other ground-targeted blinks.

Personally I prefer it as is- it’s a delayed blink / stunbreaker, that auto-attacks through the delay. But as long as you make it cast at your location, I can get behind this version as well.

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

The worm will teleport you exactly to it’s position as long as you can arrive there within 1200 units of movement.
That means the worm can teleport you both vertically or horizontally as long as you can walk there within 1200 movement, so vertically would require stairs or some other form of terrain that goes up.

If you can’t reach that position you will instead be teleported as close as possible to the worm within 1200 range.

All of these requirements are in place because the worm can be summoned on any surface, including walls and on top of walls such as in WvW.

Flesh worm is one of our best utilities IMO, it’s only disadvantage is that after casting it and finishing any skirmish you can’t move it without putting the skill in a 40 second CD.

Attrition – A pretty name for taking longer than anyone else to kill something.

i see. so you are saying that unless your flesh worm is cut off you can get pretty deep inside of very defensive objects.

some people want to use their flesh worm to get into things when they dont have a way. That is a game breaker everytime. I would hate to see flesh worm get the nerf.
I havent used my flesh worm yet as i did not know i could put it in things like that.

I am going to start whipping out my flesh worm whenever possible now!
