It seems more condition oriented obviously, but is it worth taking in a power build?

If you have at least 25 points in curses with a power build, then yes. You can amplify your damage output by popping spite signet and using epidemic.

Considering the casting time of Epidemic and that you spreading conditions to amp damage in AoE means only increasing staff Auto, you’re better off spreading BiP and the 2 condition marks on staff.

Epidemic is very good in PvE for doubling vulnerability from Well of Suffering and BiP or spreading conditions to adds in boss fights .

Attrition – A pretty name for taking longer than anyone else to kill something.

In WvW generally no, but if you are with a good organized group that calls targets then that would be the exception.

In good groups the first called target drops in seconds usually and has a whole mess of conditions on them near instantly. Lead with epidemic to spread all your team mates conditions and follow up with fear mark.

Power Builds with Spite can still spread non-damaging conditions like Chill, Cripple, Weakness and such to great effect. These are condition duration only debuffs, and certainly worth spreading.
