Is power necro good like the death shroud ones still good after the april 15 patch?

What are its weaknesses and are there any counters/classes it can’t beat?

I personally found that spamming has become less effective, as a necro you now have to pay more attention to the buff’s, aura’s and passives of your opponents..

Power is still good, but it takes a bit more awareness to play it now due to blocks and other enemies sustain/sigil procs.
iow, you got to stay light on your feet and watch your back a bit more.

But going zerker/cav/valk is just not as good anymore since Ferocity is kind of wasted stat.
Personally, I run couple knights, soldiers and some remaining zerk parts, but both 4/4/0/0/6 and 6/2/0/0/6 are still solid.

Are you talking about spvp? I dont feel that i lost much damage when i go for valk/zerker in spvp.

In pve/wvw this however may be true.

In PvE I’m currently running 4/0/4/0/6 with Knight’s equipment and it’s working pretty well. I take all the traits that benefit DS and I use dagger/focus + staff, so I have all the LF generation I need and can spam DS as necessary. Can’t comment on PvP or WvWvW though; I don’t really play those modes.

It’s only a shame that my build with Barbarian amu was nerfed, as I predicted months ago and is not viable for me in PvP.
