I was wondering if Power reaper is still a thing? I used my 80 boost on a Reaper and I thought common knowledge was to get Valk armor and cap Precision through the build. Instead of Shouts I’m going Minion Master with one shout for Rise. Any build suggestions because apparently Viper is a big thing atm and I have no idea how to get it? Do I need to get a set of gear then with Power Condition Vitality?

In pvp its not meta because its pretty easy to focus down and its slow. In wvw roaming id argue its the best build out there.

Power reaper is probably one of the only classes that can take a zerker amulet too which is nice.

I’m actually a PVEer, Open World, 5Man/Fractals; skill level is too low for raiding.

I’m using Berserker armor for solo play, but Valkyrie would certainly be good for grouping. It’s versatile so you could easily switch out minions for shouts/wells (in which case you would switch Death Magic for Spite – Soul Reaping could also be used instead of Blood Magic for a more shroud-oriented build). I also carry around a staff and warhorn in my bag, but mostly just use the axe/dagger and gs. I have no problem soloing most hero point champs in HoT zones with this build.

Like you I’m also interesting in trying a condi build – working on crafting Viper gear as my next set. Those linseed oils are expensive tho. Was planning on just using the Viper Horror meta build.
