Is it easy for reapers to find a raid spot?
Well condi reaper is generally accepted as a decent second choice after engi.
If a raid’s lacking tank you can tank just fine.
For condi at the moment people seem to prefer engies, rangers, and burnzerkers as first choices. Reapers will do fine. It just depends on how much a particular raid is min/maxing.
Don’t Reapers do better condition damage than Engineers against moving targets? Not just because of Torment, but also because they don’t rely on pulsing fields for any of their damage?
Im hoping the devs are watching closely to the numbers of classes are preferred for raid as we moves forward. For me, it’s not fun being a reaper in raid anymore. When raid was released, people were still trying to figure our the mechanics of the boss. Now that everyone has a good understanding of the mechanics, optimal team comes into place. True that we have access to all the condi, but we offer no support for team play. Every group i’ve asked to join, they would prefer condition engie over me.
Therefore i would like to one of the dev to play a role of reaper in a raid, whether in pug or in organized group. I would like to know their feedbacks.

We can do just about anything except be a dedicated healer although Blood Magic traits are still pretty great to have.
Damage is good with Valk gear, Condi is pretty comparable to Engineer and we can tank very well with a few pieces of toughness gear.
I have literally never been in a raid that didn’t have at least one reaper in it, at least me or someone else. Some of had several. These have been both purely PUG and guild raids.
Not only that, but the guild that cleared the raid first had a reaper in their party, and said exactly, if I recall correctly, “Reaper is awesome.”
Lastly, condi reaper isn’t bad, but reaper’s strength is clearly power damage, I highly suggest playing to that. Sure you can’t do anything to the red guardian but you absolutely annihilate everything else.

That’s irrelevant, phase 1,2 and 4 can be done with the boss completely immobile (even the pull to the mushroom is done outside the timer), phase 3 can be done with little movement. Phase 5 is the only one with forced movement and I’m not sure about that one. Even if the engi gets green duty it’s still more valuabe due to it’s knockback.
The only reason I think condi necro is taken is becauser there aren’t enough condi engi’s.
Killed the Vale Guardian yesterday with 2 reapers and 1 regular necromancer in the squad. Both reapers were running full zerker and the necro was running sinister condi.
It took us a couple of tries but our DPS was really solid.
For those curious; the full squad composition:
Tank: 1 Dragonhunter
Healer: 1 Druid
Power: 2 Reapers, 1 Chronomancer, 2 Heralds
Condi: 1 Engineer, 1 Necromancer, 1 Berserker
To be fair though it was mostly a guild group (7/10) so we weren’t as ‘strict’ when it came to class setups. I personally haven’t pugged the new raid yet.
Plays every class though :>

Yes, reapers are being well accepted in raids, specially condition builds.
You can also fill the role of tank if you know what you doing, ofc.

Chill doesn’t stack well, which is a loss of like 800 dps by itself.
