Is there one dominant zerk build out there?
Not sure what game mode you’re aiming for, but 6/2/0/0/6 is the most common zerk build.
6/2/0/0/6 is the pvp build, 6/6/0/0/2 is the pve build. First one is ds based, second is dagger based.
Yeah, what he said. ^^
Ah thank you so much!! I was looking for either pvp or pve.
Could someone tell me the traits for both of those? :O I would love you forever haha
take a look at metabattle.com. link is also in my signature down below.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/guardian/Guide-DPS-Guardian-for-PVE/first for pve,
for pvp grab all the death shroud and life blast effects. Skills can be switched, i recommend spectral walk, summon flesh wurm, and corrupt boon.
Ox,
that was the guardian guide.

Shoul explain most things
I’m so used to the guardian subforum, my bad :/
yea 6/2/0/0/6 for pvp/wvw I don’t pve. However, lately Ive been running 4/4/0/0/6 just for Banshee’s Wail for permanent swiftness and 3 second aoe daze. BW makes warhorn so good and I actually think its worth giving up the close to death trait (barely).
6/2/0/0/6 is the pvp build, 6/6/0/0/2 is the pve build. First one is ds based, second is dagger based.
hehe. i use neither of those but run daggers.
As true as Odin’s spear flies,
There is nowhere to hide.
He asked for the dominants builds, not your own. PvP dagger builds or daggershroud are harder to master, so I didn’t include them.
It’s sad that for almost every class, all you need to do is throw out 5 numbers and most people know the weapons, traits, armor, runes and sigils used.
I bet many in PvP just look at class and weapon and know everything about the player’s build
I remember playing in GW1 Jade Quarry and seeing a N/A thinking it was just another bomber, only to be surprised when it was a lifesteal necro.
In the case of 6/2/0/0/6 necros, weapons, sigils, runes and traits are not written in stone. It’s just a basic indicator, saying you’ll play a direct damage necro reliant on death shroud. Most pvp meta builds doesn’t include everything as a 100% re usable setup against every situation would be nerfed anyway. Meta specs use a fairly large choice of sigils and runes, especially direct damage ones not reliant on might stacking, wich is the case of necros. I do agree, specs are easy to spot in this game, but I don’t find it bad. I’d go as far as saying it’s a good thing.
