After this video I opened GW2, created little, cute female asura necro and start lvling her as fast as possible. I’m not judging your skills, because I’m worse and less skilled player than you are, but the video was great. It is well made, it was pleasure to watch it. I do really like it.

Basicly my old build just with close to death instead of dhuumfire, even tho i played with dhuumfire in first weeks of patchthe meta has evolved in bunkerish condi cleaning meta so close to death better, in sPVP i kinda now run with well of power instead of spectral walk, not as cool skill but more useful overall.

I prefer Path of Midnight (Death shroud skills recharge 15% faster) to Vital Persistence (50% slower Life force loss in Death shroud) but good stuff!

This really puts my necro play to shame I just wish that the Staff wasnt a huge part of this build. Nothing against the staff… It just seems like it is the only viable weapon for a necromancer.

Desaita, staff may not be an ultimate mega-weapon but it is useful in many situations. That is why it is so popular. It was really designed well – good condi, a burst, fear, and long range. It covers many PvE, WvW, and PvP situations. It is not uber but has a lot of versatility complementing other weapon loads. There is a gap in ranged power but it is hard for staff to have both power and powerful AoE.

Desolation isn’t that poor. I’m there, roaming on my Power Necro aswell, whooping SFR and Kodash bumps, so things balance out
