I haven’t seen any mention of this phenomenon, so thought I’d ask here.

Been away from the game a while, but played a few times recently and noticed something irksome on my Necro: out of combat, LF will often spontaneously vanish…up to 50% has just vanished out of combat. From full LF to 50%, instantly (sometimes less; it varies).

Is this some new bug? Or some new “feature” necros must contend with? I never had it happen in the past. It has kept me from using my necro, since it makes it a pain to use DS.

Im not sure on the exact cause of the 50% loss. But its always been that you lose about 9% on instance change. I have noticed the 50% loss a few times recently in addition to the old 9% loss. Seeing as this post makes me think i wasnt just imagining things ill pay a bit more attention to it and see if i can work out when it happens.

Never seen it happen. If you go from a low-level map to a high-level map, you keep a fixed number of life force rather than a percentage, though.

This is not the instance or area change thing; this is actually a spontaneous and large instant loss of LF simply while standing still or moving out of combat.

Never saw it till a couple days ago when I started playing again after a break. Maybe it is a fluke. Hope it is a weird temporary thing as it makes using DS not very practical.

Well ive never noticed when it happened. I would just notice i randomly have 0 or 50% lifeforce when before i definately had around full. At the moment i only really log on to craft damask and maybe do a daily. So im mostly sitting around in LA not doing much. Yet lifeforce has disappeared mysteriously without me noticing.

Well I played for a while tonight and thankfully did not have this occur. Whereas, for the previous 2 days it was in fact chronic and really made using DS impractical.

Hopefully gone now; I hate to play necro without making good use of DS.
