Hey guys…

As i explained in the video, because i was caught between making the new conditionmancer video and real life stuff, i was unable to try the gauntlet as soon as it came out. By the time i did try it, i was convinced guides for “how to” would have been out.
I haven’t seen any… and i also had a lot of people whispering me asking me if it can be done with a necromancer, so if anyone still needs it… here it is.

GJ. I saw a video before but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t make one. More is always welcome.

I couldn’t do it even on my guardian and pretty much gave up lol. They said gauntlet will return, so I’ll try it next time.

So I have done her literally about 80 times and have never got her past phase one……..
Im using Nemisis’s hybrid build and I cant seem to not get hit by her projectile……..and stay out of AOE….And dodge clones…… and kill orbs……

I’ve only managed to get her to around 50%. A few things to note -

• The first few sets of AoE and light pools are always in the same places (I’m going to guess the rest are too?).

• Blind works wonders against the clones, and if you get a good blind and tag them, they can be used to rally off, as long as you keep them moving.

• Avoiding her projectile is purely timing, and keeping an eye on her animations. I think this is what lets me down, I get too involved keeping an eye on other things and let me health get too low.

For me personally, I need to work out how to generate some more hp from the clones to keep me topped up for stage 2. I need my movement to become more automatic for stage 2 so I can focus on keeping my distance from Liadri while stacking conditions.

I use signet of the locus, well of darkness, and spectral walk, with lich form……. I find that even with the orrian truffle and meat stew, I move too slow and am forced to sometime dodge twice out of an aoe..(which generally lands me into a cloe=instadeath) or if I manage to not die by clones or aoe the projectiles have take me out as I wait for clones to get to the 2nd light circle……… So I dont know what im doing wrong…..

It’s possible you are too far away from the center – for the most part the aoe zones are pie shaped – the close you are to the center the less you have to walk to get out of the zone.

Plague form is actually really really useful here – you can blind and cripple a whole bunch of clones, once blinded the clones can do no damage.

I also find taking spectral grasp is handy, so you are not waiting around for a clone to get to light pool, you can pick one and bring it over. Just puts it on your terms, rather than letting the fight dictate to you.

Its amusing when you have superlag and get exploded by a clone from the other side of the room. Just need to get 8 orbs and then im done with all achieves. Determined to do on zerker. But i keep getting sidetracked with dungeons and stuff ;p

Anyway nice video, well of darkness never really occured to me tbh.

ive had the boss pull me, and an orb explode bouncing me back and dealing no damage….

Hope the ideas help, but take them with a pinch of salt. I’ve yet to beat her, as I’ve said – every time I get close a boss spawns below me and the zerg turning up to smakitten lags me out.

Well of Darkness was my first thought since I run zerker and don’t have offhand dagger for blind, but I ended up dumping it for spectral grasp. Don’t think I ever would have done either of the achievements without it. It doesnt just save you time from kiting the visions, it alleviates another huge side effect caused by kiting, and that’s when you have 3 or 4 visions grouped together in close proximity but not stacked on top of each other. It creates a hairy little gauntlet where they don’t all get wiped by the portal and have to burn a dodge or risk getting one shotted on your way out.

Lich, spectral grasp, SoL, and spectral walk. Full zerker. It can be done!

I got another 21 tickets left over from the 60 I bought…gonna get on after work and try the new set up and farm the champs downstairs for the tickets also…… I really want that mini…..

I think its a little unfair how the gauntlet doesnt really have a good prgression of difficulty…. I only needed more that one ticket on two members before this chick…. CRAZY

She isnt so crazy as the god kitten camera is and its not really important, since as a activity the achivement is gonna stay/return with it.
I just gave up on Light up the darkness afer running out of time multiple times despite being on the 6th or 7th crystal and her under 10% hp, really not worth the bother untill a-net decides to fix their game.
