Its not fun to always be looking for critters just to heal my minions and gain Life Force. I don’t think Life Force/Death Shroud compares to Warrior Adrenaline at all.

I’d like to see Life Force Bar fill up out of combat (10 sec OOC) and minions regenerate health out of combat (10 sec OOC).

Anet people please consider what players are actually doing today in game, killing critters should never be part of that!

A) life force doesnt degenerate outside of DS usage and the only weapon without ok LF generation is scepter.
B) no minions regen, so talking about that is like complaining about the pathing, wishing for pigs to fly or to make that idiot boss who likes heads up his kitten give you a raise without losing your standards.

When life gives you lemon, ask if its from a anime or manga.

Out of combat regen for minions is not that bad idea

Flesh Golem regens out of combat, it seems a bit silly that they don’t (although its QoL more than anything). However, LF is supposed to take time to build up.

The only real change I’d like to see if getting some life force at the start of sPvP and tPvP matches. Doesn’t have to be the full bar, but not having DS available during the early fights sucks.

Having it fill up to 10% out of combat would not be bad, nor OP, at all. Just so we have some access to our class mechanic for each new battle. Could probably argue pretty safely for up to 25%.

The point is take a look at what players are doing, they are killing critters to heal minions and refill life force…Seriously you spend all this money on an amazing game only to have this silly thing that has PLAYERS KILLING CRITTERS!

Come on, am I the only one who thinks something is seriously wrong here!?

while i don’t agree with most of what the OP. is saying,i do think it’s silly that we have to rely on finding random critters to regenerate our minions
but this is an issue people have been complaining about,with absolutely no response from devs (at least to my knowledge)
but then again,that’s also among other issues with other classes

DS could possibly refill to 25% when out of combat at least ,so we at least have a skill to open with without the need to use a skill to regenerate it,or running straight up to someone’s face just to auto attack with a dagger without the protection of our class-mechanic defense,since that’s what we’re trying to obtain in the first place,or auto attacking with a staff as an opener,since staff 1 is a joke,but EVERY weapon has an ability that can be used as an opener to generate enough Life Force to activate at least 1 skill (plus Doom) so,i doubt that would ever happen

I would agree with the 10%, it will give 3 seconds max of DS usage (except if you immediately DS 4), but would give us access to some immediate things that certain builds really need at the start of the match, and opens up better skill rotations without worrying about needing that LF right away (and then using skills in bad rotations just because you need LF to fight).

@Alpha Uh… no. Scepter (assuming 5 conditions on target), Focus (with 3+ bounces), and Warhorn (needs to hit 10 times total) can get 10% LF in one skill, that’s it, and those are conditional at best.
