Any ideas on what’s the most effective way to build a Necromancer for PvP only? What weapons,traits to use?

Im currently running this in soloQ trying to max damage while focused. (Swap Lich for Golem to have longer control inside WoS)
After Bip Wos can hit 4k a pulse without crits.

Going into battle:
Always start with Staff AA and marks #1#2, To lure ouy blocks dodges
Then flash DS for stability and start closing distance.

Bip> Deathly swarm > Dark pact > DS #1 > DS #3 > DS #2 > Dagger AA.

Bip > Deathly swarm > Dark pact > WoS > staff #4 > Dagger AA > Ds #3

-Not many stunbreaks so make sure you take advantage of being focussed and time your blinds.
-Flash DS as much as possible, and if you can AA.
-With stacks of might Staff AA is your DS.
-Swap Lich for golem

Anyways.. it can be fun, or utterly devestating to your party. depending on the support you get.

Thank you for the feedback, though i was under the impression that the most effective build for PvP was the terrormancer because of its tankiness and abuse of fears (for capping and defending), and being able to hold off multiple enemies until help arrives.

This is pretty much what noscoc’s terror build is, but I don’t think you will find its particularly easy to play or tanky.

I’m asuming the build uses dire armor?

There is no dire armor in pvp, it uses carrion. The link I provided has the build in its entirety.

If your looking for a wvw build that is something different.
