This is still very much a wip but i was just hoping for some honest feedback from my peers. Be brutal, i can handle it.

The general idea is to get up close and personal, keep them slow and vulnerable, and deal a decent amount of direct damage. There is life siphon built, some life force as well so that i can pop in and out of DS at a fairly reliable rate. I don’t feel like it’s particularly strong in any one area but it seems like it could do well and be fun to play.

The slot skills aren’t showing up for me, but guessing from your traits you’re probably running signet of spite, blood is power, and perhaps one other signet (locust maybe?) to stack up some might. Makes for an interesting direct damage/condition hybrid. Almost no extra toughness, which makes that HP you siphon off easier to knock back down again; you might think about swapping a few armor pieces for knight’s or rabid (depending on whether you want to sacrifice power or condition damage) to make yourself a little harder to kill and making that siphoning more worthwhile.

Is this meant to be more WvW- or PvE-focused?

But i took well of suffering for the added vulnerability and the added effect of the “Being close to me is painful…” style of play. I see what you mean about the the toughness. Could really turn out to be a factor because of the up close style as well. ill look at some options to buff that toughness a bit and see what it looks like.
I figure once it’s nailed down ill start running it in PVE and if it seems to be doing well then ill take it into WvW

You will need the toughness if you’re going to join up with a zerg at all while in WvW. As for the well, I’d think corruption would be more useful to hate on some boons, especially if you do intend to dive into a zerg, although that’s not really a recommended strategy unless you really know what you’re doing. However, switching the cooldown reduction on blood is power for ground-targeted wells can help you do AoE damage without diving if you like the large-group play.

If you want to take it to smaller scale WvW, I’d swap out the well for another signet, say plague signet to give you a stun break and for the spite of transferring conditions; with the stacks of might you get when activating the signets, spite and plague combined give you a nice condition spike with added condition damage.

Ok so i added some toughness in lieu of condi damage. I also added more might on swap to the daggers. I figure all of the might will help make up for the drop in condition damage and boost direct damage as well. Dropped the well all together for now and added epidemic to spread around the vulnerability. This is kind of a general utility and I feel as though this particular slot can be swapped depending on situation. Running with 2 corruption spells makes me nervous about condi removal so i added a sigil of generosity to the focus to give me some condi removal on both weapon sets. (i should probably swap the sigils on this set since the axe will be critting much more often) I lost about 1% in crit chance but gained it in crit damage. I would rather be as close to 50% as possible but im ok with 48. The build is still very offensive and is missing stun break and boon strip…

Ok so i started putting this together and ran it around orr a bit. still getting comfortable with the rotations and everything but i’ve revised it a bit. Following are 2 updated options including ascended gear.
