Pretty much the topic title. Mainly this would be for solo to small group (5-6) roaming and camp taking. I’m debating between a power or condition damage variation. I used to run carrion back when I started necro and it seemed to work pretty well for what I like to do, but am now thinking dire armor and trinkets, but am unsure of what rune set and sigils.

Still would like to know what MM variation you guys like to run and why you like to run it. So please bestow upon me your infinite wisdom forum masters! And yes I am aware of the Flesh of the Master bug that plagues us still. Shouldn’t matter much in WvW, honestly when we go down, we pretty much stay down….

I’d run two variations of the same basic build:
1. Cleric – for when you’re in a group
2. Soldier (or some other power-heavy setup)

I’m not at all a fan of condi-MM, its a hybrid build that doesn’t have all that good of synergy. Go cleric for groups, since you can bring a lot of group utility that way, plus keep your minions alive, and soldier or some kind of power build, mixing in as much damage as you feel comfortable doing without risking death, for a solo build. Just go the “standard” 4/0/6/4/0, the traits should always be the same, you will always have leeching on both weapon sets, just pick up renewal sigils/healing or support runes for cleric, and energy (or some offensive sigil)/offensive runes for soldier.

Personally MM should always be bunker builds. DPS MM just die too fast. If your Minions die in start of fight you basically just lost all your utility skills. Just something to think about when running MM builds.

When I played WvW I ran Warhorn instead of Focus. WvW you really have to take mobility into consideration.
